How to Change Your Apple ID

apple id is the account you use to access Apple services like the App Store, iTunes Store, iCloud, iMessage, the Apple Online Store, FaceTime, and more.

Open Settings

1.Open the Settings app.
2.Tap your name at the top of the screen.
3.Tap Password & Security.
4.Tap Change Password.
5.Enter your current password, then enter a new password and confirm the new password.
6.Tap Change or Change Password to confirm.

Tap your name

Open the Settings app. Tap [your name] at the top of the screen. If you’re using iOS 10.3 or later, tap Profile. If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, tap iCloud. Tap the device that you want to manage, then tap [your name]. If you’re using iOS 10.3 or later, tap Profile. If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, tap iCloud.

Tap Sign Out

If you’re signed into apple id account on an iPhone, iPad, ipod touch and want to sign out, follow these steps.

Open Settings.
Tap your name.
Tap Sign Out. If you have multiple accounts signed in with iCloud, you might be asked to enter your password for the account you want to use.
If asked, enter a phone number and verify it with a code. This helps Apple verify that it’s really you signing out.
Choose what happens with the data on your device next. You can either have it backed up to iCloud or erased completely.
If you choose Delete from My [device] and keep a copy in iCloud, choose whether to keep or delete copies of Contacts, Calendars, Notes, Reminders, Safari bookmarks and Reading List*, Books*, Audiobooks*, Music*, Movies*, TV Shows*, Photos and Camera Roll*.

Deleting these items removes them from your device and iCloud but doesn’t delete them from any other services where they might be backed up (like Gmail or Yahoo).

Enter your Apple ID password

If you know your current password, you can change it from apple id account page If you don’t know your password, you can reset it from Apple’s iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch password reset page, or from its iForgot page. You can also change your password from the Sign in to iCloud screen on a Mac or PC.

Tap Turn Off

In the Security section, click Edit.
Click Turn Off Two-Factor Authentication, then click Continue.
Two-factor authentication is now turned off.

Tap Sign In

If you have an Apple ID, you can use it to sign in to your Apple device, make purchases from the App Store and iTunes Store, and more. You can also use it to sign in to other Apple services, such as iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, and Game Center.

If you want to change the email address that you use as your Apple ID, there are a few things that you need to do:

1. Tap Sign In on your device.
2. Enter the Apple ID that you want to use.
3. Tap next, then enter the password for your Apple ID.
4. Tap Sign In.
5. If asked, enter the verification code for your previous email address.
6. Tap next, then tap continue.

Enter new apple id and password

1.Open Settings, and then tap Apple ID & Password.
2.Tap Change Apple ID. If you don’t see Change Apple ID, tap Sign in with a different Apple ID, then tap Forgot Apple ID or password > Change Apple ID.
3.Enter your new Apple ID and password, then tap Done.

Tap Sign In

Your Apple ID is the account you use for all Apple services. If you want to change your Apple ID, you can do so from your Apple ID account page or your device Settings.

To change your Apple ID on your device, tap Settings > iCloud > tap the Apple ID field at the top of the screen > enter the new email address you want to use as your Apple ID.

If you want to change your password,security questions or other account information, this is the place to do it. Just head to appleid.apple.com, and sign in with your current Apple ID and password. From there, click Edit in the Account section.
