You can change your Apple ID to any other email address you control, as long as it’s not already in use as an Apple ID. When you change your Apple ID, all of the data and files associated with that account will be transferred to your new account.
If you want to use a different email address with iCloud, iTunes, App Store, or iMessage, but you want to keep using your current email address as your Apple ID, you can sign in with a different email address on each service. If asked, enter the password for your current Apple ID.
1. On your device, go to Settings > [your name].
2. Tap Password & Security > Change Password.
3. Enter your current password, then enter a new password and confirm the new password.
4. Tap Change or Change Password. When you change your password, all apps that use your current Apple ID will be signed out of your account until you sign in again with the new password.
Enter the new Apple ID that you want to use.
If you want to change your Apple ID to another third-party email address or phone number, first sign out of everywhere that uses your Apple ID. This includes iCloud, the iTunes & App Store, the Mac App Store, iMessage and Facetime, and any other services that use your Apple ID.
Once you’re signed out, enter the new Apple ID that you want to use. If you’re changing to a third-party email address, be sure to enter the complete email address (for example, [email protected]).
When you finish making changes to your profile information – including your Apple ID – click Save.
Your Apple ID is the account you use for all Apple services. If you want to change your Apple ID, you can do so from apple id account page or your iPhone’s Settings app.
To change your Apple ID on your iPhone, open the Settings app and tap on “iTunes & App Store.” Here, tap on your Apple ID at the top of the screen, then tap “Sign Out.” Once you’ve signed out of your current Apple ID, sign in with the new one that you want to use.
If you’re changing your email address associated with your Apple ID, you might need to wait a few days before using it with iCloud, iTunes, or other services.
