How to Use Apple Cash

You use apple cash to pay people and make purchases in stores, apps, and on the web. Here’s how it works and what you need to know.

Setting Up Apple Cash

Apple Cash is a great way to quickly and easily send and receive money with friends and family who also have iPhones. Here’s how to set it up.

Open the Wallet app on your iPhone

When you open the Wallet app, you should see Apple Cash listed underneath your default card. If you don’t see Apple Cash, tap Edit in the upper-right corner, then tap the plus sign next to Apple Cash. You might need to enter your passcode or sign in with Touch ID or Face ID.

Tap the Apple Card tab

On your iPhone, open the Wallet app, then tap . Tap the Apple Card tab, then tap Apple Cash.

Tap Set Up Apple Cash. If you don’t see Set Up Apple Cash, tap , then tap Edit.

Enter your date of birth, then tap Next. If you’re under 18 years old, you might need to get help from a parent or guardian to set up Apple Cash.

Follow the instructions on your screen to set up Apple Cash.

Open the Messages app, then open an existing conversation or start a new one.

Tap Apple Pay. If asked, sign in with apple id

Enter the amount you want to send, then tap Pay. By default, Apple Pay Cash uses the Balance in your Apple Cash card. If you have a different payment card set up for Apple Pay, tap the arrow next to Balance and choose a card.

Check your payment method, then tap Send.

Tap Set Up Apple Cash

Open the Settings app, then tap “Wallet & Apple Pay.”

Tap “Set Up Apple Cash.”

Follow the steps on your screen to set up Apple Cash.

Follow the prompts to set up Apple Cash

Open the Wallet app, then tap the Apple Pay Cash card. Tap the Info button , then tap Set Up Apple Pay Cash. If you don’t see Set Up Apple Pay Cash, you might need to update to the latest version of iOS.

Follow the prompts on your screen to set up Apple Cash. You might need to enter your birth date, Social Security number, and mailing address to continue.

Using Apple Cash

Apple Cash is a new way to manage your money with the iPhone. You can now use Apple Cash to make purchases in stores, online, and in apps. You can also send money to friends and family using iMessage. Here’s how to use Apple Cash.

Tap the Wallet app on your iPhone

To using apple cash tap the Wallet app on your iPhone. If you don’t have Wallet, tap the App Store icon, then get Wallet.

Tap the Apple Cash card, then tap the More button .

Tap Set Up Apple Cash. If you don’t see Set Up Apple Cash, make sure that you’ve set up iCloud and are signed in with your Apple ID.

Follow the instructions on your screen to choose how you want to receive money and whether you want use apple pay to pay for things using your Apple Cash card.

Open the Wallet app, then tap . Tap the Apple Card tab, then tap Apple Cash.

You might need to verify your identity.

Tap , then tap Add Money.

Enter an amount, then tap Add. Your total Apple Cash balance is shown at the top of the screen.

In order to use Apple Cash, you first need to set it up in the Wallet app on your iPhone. Once you’ve done that, you can use it to make and receive payments in Messages, or you can use it to make purchases in stores, apps, and on websites.

To use Apple Cash to make a payment, tap the three dots in the top right corner of the conversation in Messages, then tap Apple Pay. From there, you can either tap the amount of money you want to send or tap Custom to enter a specific amount. Once you’ve selected an amount, tap Pay, then confirm your payment with Face ID or Touch ID.

When you’re ready to use your Apple Cash balance, just tap the Apple Cash card in Wallet and choose the amount you’d like to transfer.1 If you have more than one Apple Cash card, tap the one that you want to use.2

If you don’t have an Apple Cash card yet, follow these steps to add one:

Open Wallet and tap . Tap the apple pay cash card that you want to add money to.3 Tap , then tap Add Money.4 Enter an amount and tap Add. You can use Touch ID or enter your passcode to confirm.

Your Apple Cash balance is what’s available to spend after you’ve made any transfers and payments. To see a detailed history of all transactions, including transfers and payments, go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Transaction History.

Open the Wallet app and tap Apple Cash.

Tap the amount you want to transfer.

Tap Transfer.

If you have a joint account, you might need to confirm the transfer with Face ID or Touch ID.

Open the Wallet app, then tap the Apple Cash card.

Tap the info button , then tap Transfer.

Choose how much you want to transfer, then confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode.
You can also set up Automatic Transfers to move money from your Apple Cash card to your bank account every day, week, or two weeks.

Troubleshooting Apple Cash

If you’re having trouble using Apple Cash, make sure that you’re using a supported device and have the latest version of iOS. You might need to verify your identity with Apple. If you’re still having trouble,contact apple support

I can’t set up Apple Cash

Apple Cash is a great way to easily and securely send and receive payments through iMessage, but some users have had trouble setting it up. Here are some troubleshooting tips to help you get started.

If you’re having trouble setting up Apple Cash, the first thing to check is that you’re using a supported device. Apple Cash is available on the iPhone 6s or later, iPad Pro, iPad (5th generation or later), iPad Air 2 or later, and iPad mini 3 or later. You’ll also need to be running iOS 11.2 or later.

If you meet all of the above requirements and are still having trouble setting up Apple Cash, try these tips:

-Make sure that Face ID or Touch ID is set up on your device. You’ll need to use one of these features to set up Apple Pay on your device, and it’s required for authorizing payments with Apple Pay.
-Check that the payment method you’re trying to use with Apple Pay is set up correctly. If you’re using a debit card, for example, make sure that it’s activated and that there are no problems with the account attached to it.
-Make sure that the billing address associated with your payment method is correct. This is especially important if you’re using a credit card as your payment method.
-Restart your device and try setting up Apple Cash again. Sometimes a simple restart can fix minor software glitches that might be causing problems.

I can’t use Apple Cash

If you can’t use Apple Cash, check to see if any of the following is true:
-It’s been more than 24 hours since you activated Apple Cash
-You don’t have enough money in Apple Cash to cover the transaction
-The transaction is over $3,000
-You’re trying to send money to someone who doesn’t have an eligible device
-You’re trying to pay a business
-If you’re trying to send or receive money with Apple Pay, make sure that you’re signed in with the same Apple ID that you use with Apple Cash.

I can’t see my Apple Cash balance

If you’re having trouble seeing your Apple Cash balance, here are a few things to check:

– Make sure that you’re signed in to iCloud with your Apple ID on all of your devices.
– Go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay on your iPhone and make sure that you’ve turned on Allow Payments on Other Devices.
– On iPad, go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay and make sure that you’ve turned on Allow Payments from Other Devices.
– If you have apple watch open the Wallet app on your iPhone and tap the … button next to your Apple Cash card. Turn off Use on This Watch, then turn it back on again.
– If you have an iPhone 6 or later and can’t see your balance after completing these steps, it might be due to a software issue. In this case, contact apple support
