How Do I Reset My Apple ID?

If you forgot apple id password or need to change it, follow these steps. If you want to reset apple id because you can’t sign in or you see a message that says your account has been disabled, you can’t reset your password.

Open Settings.

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap [your name].
3. Tap Password & Security.
4. Tap Change Password.
5. Enter your current password, then enter a new password and confirm the new password.
6. Tap Change or Change Password to confirm.

Scroll down and tap “Sign in to your [device].”

First, try signing in with your email address. If that doesn’t work, try your phone number. If that doesn’t work, try resetting your password.

Select the account that you want to manage and click Continue. If you’re using a shared device and want to prevent the other person from accessing your account, select Use different Apple IDs for iCloud and iTunes & App Stores.

Click Security > Reset Password or Change Password.

Follow the instructions to update your password.

Tap “Turn Off.”

If you enter the wrong password too many times, you’ll see a message that your account has been disabled. If you can’t remember your password, you can reset it using the web browser on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

If you’re signing in to iCloud.com, first enter your Apple ID, then select “Forgot password?” and follow the instructions.

If you’re signing in on your iOS device or Mac, select “Forgot password?” and follow the instructions. If you use two-factor authentication with your Apple ID, you won’t be able to reset your password from your device. Sign in to iCloud.com to change your password.

Tap “Sign Out” when prompted.

1. Go to iforgot.apple.com.

3. Click Continue and follow the instructions given on the next page

Enter a new password and tap “Done.”

If you have an iOS device like an iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app and tap on your name at the top of the screen. Then, tap “Password & Security” and enter your current password before tapping on “Change Password.” From there, enter your new password and tap “Done.”

If you’re resetting your password on a Mac, open the System Preferences app and click on the “iCloud” icon. Enter your current password before clicking on the “Change Password” button. From there, follow the prompts to enter and confirm your new password.

1. Go to appleid.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
2. Click “Forgot your password?”
3. Enter your Apple ID, then select “Continue.”
4. If you have security questions set up, you’ll be asked to answer them. If not, you’ll need to enter the email address that you use as your Apple ID and we’ll send you instructions on how to reset your password.

Enter the new Apple ID and password.

In order to reset your Apple ID, enter the new Apple ID and password that you want to use. After you have entered the new information, click on the “Reset” button.
