A trusted phone number is a phone number that can be used to receive Apple ID account verification codes.
If you don’t have a Recovery Key and aren’t able to receive code verifications, you can disable two-factor authentication, then change or reset your password:
To disable two-factor authentication, sign in to My Apple ID with your current password. In the Security section, click Edit. Click Turn Off Two Factor Authentication, then click again to confirm.*
