How to Recover Your Apple ID

Apple ID is the key to everything you do with Apple, including using iCloud to store your content, making purchases in the App and iTunes Stores, and accessing Apple Support. If you forget apple id or password, or if your account is hacked, you need to know how to recover your account.

Go to iforgot.apple.com

Go to iforgot.apple.com and enter apple id If you don’t remember your Apple ID, you can look it up.

Choose the option to reset your password, then select Continue.

If you have an account with security questions, you can reset your password by providing the answers to your security questions. If you don’t have security questions and you know your date of birth, you can skip to the next step.

If you don’t know your date of birth or if you prefer not to provide it, choose the option to Reset by Mail and click Continue. Then follow these instructions:

Enter your Apple ID

start the process of recovering your Apple ID, head to Apple’s iForgot page. You can also begin the process by launching the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad and going to iCloud > Forgot your Apple ID.

On the iForgot page, enter your Apple ID email address. If you don’t know your Apple ID email address, you can try entering your phone number or recovery key instead.

If you can’t remember any of this information, you can click “Look it up” to find your Apple ID using your name and contact information.

Select the option to reset your password

If you’ve forgotten apple id password you can reset it using the web browser on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. If you’re signing in with an Apple ID that uses two-factor authentication or two-step verification, you’ll need to enter a trusted phone number or device passcode instead of a password.

To reset your password, follow these steps:

-Go to iforgot.apple.com.
-Enter your Apple ID.
-Choose the option to reset your password.
-Follow the onscreen instructions to finish resetting your password.

Choose how to reset your password

There are four ways to reset your password:

-Answer security questions
-Get an email
-Use Two-Factor Authentication
-Use Two-Step Verification

Choose the method that you want to use. If you can’t reset your password using any of the methods above, or if you don’t have access to any of your recovery information, you can request that Apple send you a reset link.

Follow the instructions to reset your password

If you forgot apple id password you can reset it using apple id account page or the My Apple ID website.

To reset your password using the Apple ID account page:

1. Go to appleid.apple.com and click “Forgot your Apple ID or password?”
2. Enter your Apple ID, then click Continue.
3. If you have security questions set up, you’ll be prompted to answer them. If you don’t have security questions set up, you’ll need to reset your password by email.
4. If you’re prompted for a verification code, enter the code that was sent to your rescue email address or phone number. Then click Continue.
5. Enter a new password, then click Reset Password.
6. Follow the instructions on the screen to choose a new password and set up two-factor authentication for your Apple ID.
