There are a few different ways to do this, and which method you’ll use depends on whether or not you have access to the email address associated with your Apple ID. If you don’t have access to that email address, you’ll need to contact Apple directly.
How to Recover Your Apple ID Password
If you forgot apple id password you can reset it using the iForgot website. First, you’ll need to enter your Apple ID. Once you’ve entered your Apple ID, you’ll be able to choose how to reset your password. You can either have a reset link sent to your primary email address or answer your security questions.
Go to iforgot.apple.com

Enter your Apple ID
Enter your Apple ID in the field labeled “Your Apple ID is your email address.” If you’re having trouble, try entering your full email address, including the @ symbol and any part of the domain after it. For example, if your email address [email protected], you might need to [email protected], or even just iCloud.com.

Select the type of problem you are having

If you can’t remember your password, you can reset it using the web browser on your iPhone, iPad,ipod touch or Mac. If you can’t use any of those devices, go to iforgot.apple.com.
