How to Change Your Apple Password

If you think apple id password has been compromised, follow these steps to change it and secure your account.

Open Settings.

On your iPhone, iPad, ipod touch with iOS 10.3 or later, go to Settings > [your name], and tap Password & Security. On your Mac with macOS Sierra 10.12.4 or later, open the Apple menu and choose System Preferences, then click iCloud. Click Account Details, then click Security. If you’re asked to enter apple id password click “apple id or password” and follow the onscreen instructions.

Tap Accounts & Passwords.

If you know your current password, you can change it:

Tap Accounts & Passwords. If you’re using iOS 10.3 or later and have more than one type of account, tap the account that you want to update. If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, tap Settings > iCloud > Password & Security.

Tap Change Password.

Enter a new password and tap Change or Change Password when finished.

Tap Change Password.

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap Accounts & Passwords, then select apple id
3. Tap Change Password.
4. Enter your current password, then enter a new password and confirm the new password.
5. Tap Change or Change Password to confirm.

If you know your current password, you can change it:

1. Open apple id website.
2. Click “Manage your Apple ID.”
3. If prompted, sign in with your apple id password
4. Click “Change Password.”
5. Enter your current password, then enter a new password and confirm the new password.
