1. In the App Store, select the app you want to buy.
2. Tap Buy or tap the price of an in-app purchase.
3. Confirm your payment with Face ID or Touch ID, or enter your password. Then tap Pay. If you don’t see an option to pay with Apple Pay, make sure that you’re using an iPhone 6 or later that has iOS 11 or later, or an iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, or later. You might need to enter your card details even if you have a credit or debit card that’s compatible with Apple Pay.
4. To use Apple Pay in Safari on your iPhone 6 and later or iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2nd generation) and later:
– Go to a participating website and look for the Apple Pay button .
– If asked, choose the country where your card was issued and enter other required information.
– Hold your iPhone near the Touch ID reader without resting your finger on Touch ID; wait until you feel a gentle pulse and hold there until you see Done and a checkmark on the display. Or enter your passcode on devices without Touch ID.* You might need to sign a receipt or authorize the purchase with Face ID , Touch ID ,or passcode.
5* If you accidentally touch Touch ID while holding your iPhone near the reader, just lift and hold your finger again to retry.*
How to use Apple Pay on the web
To use Apple Pay on the web, you’ll need to be using a compatible web browser and have an Apple ID signed in. Once you’ve signed in, you can use Apple Pay on any website that accepts it.
When you’re ready to pay, look for the Apple Pay button or logo at the checkout page. You might also see a list of accepted payment methods, which might include Apple Pay.
Click the Apple Pay button or logo, then review the total amount and shipping information. To pay, click the Buy with Pay button. If you have more than one device with Apple Pay turned on, choose which device you want to use to pay. If you’re asked to enter your billing, shipping, and contact information on the website, you can double-click the side button on your device to fill in your information.
